Cincinnati Museum Center with Dave and Brenda

Back

Our good friends, Dave and Brenda, live in Georgetown Kentucky. We don't get to see them as often as we would like ... so we decided to meet halfway at the Cincinnati Museum Center. They have a couple cool museums.

The museum center is currently hosting the Titanic Artifact Exhibit. We went through that first.

Next we went to the Natural History section.

It was VERY Evolutionary - but we weren't surprised. Finally we went to the Children's Museum ... it is a blast for the kids.

As soon as we arrived the girls immediatly began clamoring for Dave to hold them!
The girls really liked the geods.
Lewis really liked the cave ... where he could hide and try to scare his sisters!
Dave and I became beasts of burden ... of course.
In the children's museum section, there is a turtle tank with this clear tube that sticks into the center of the tank for kids to climb into.

Brenda almost jumped into the tank to save a child before she realized the child was in the glass tube!!
They have a pretty good size water table for the kids to play in!
Of course sometimes playing is really hard work!
Lewis the spider is feasting on two little bugs that got stuck in his web.
This is pretty cool. You pick a simulation (Soccer, Racecar driving, etc.) then the system takes a scan of you.

When the 'game' starts it watched Lewis' (the goalie) movements and recorded if he blocked the shot or not.
We found this short-order diner where the kids prepared your meals. If you enjoy plastic hot-dogs you should try this place.

Elizabeth asked Dave and Brenda what they wanted. When Brenda ordered Ice Cream Elizabeth whispered 'Pretend that is not on the menu'. Dave and Brena had Elizabeth so flustered I don't think she ever wants to go into waitressing!!

Elizabeth was kinda walking around looking for food to server her patrons, when Victoria came over with this huge armload of food. She had everything on the menu and was able to satisfy the guests.

Of course Dave started a food fight!!
Seeing all this food made us soo hungry! We ditched the plastic and headed to an Outback.

Thanks guys ... we had a great time, next time I'm buying dinner!
