Loading the Tate's Crate

Back

Roger, Julie, Emily, Amy, and Josiah headed to language school in February taking only their luggage. The possesions they want shipped to Africa have been in storage at the church.

A shipping container is coming to take it all so they can meet up in Kenya.

We only had 2 hours to load it - but there was plenty of help!

Truck was running late - weather was threatening rain!
Finally! Back it right up against the garage in case it does rain.
We can probably get closer than that.
Much better ... now we can just hand the boxes and furniture right up inside!
Maybe about 1/3 loaded.
Half the crew in the container - Ray, Pastor, and Steven did the wedging and fitting.

Hi Lewis.
Mike Anderson and our Jr. Helper.
The rain held off.
Working hard!
If this is a priority box it needs to go in the front so it arrives sooner.
Happy Workers!
Steven taking a union mandated break.
We were concerned about space - so we unpacked boxes and loaded things into drawers.
They could only pack so fast - so sometimes on the ground we had to wait.
Some of the heavy stuff!
Wow -that is pretty full!
But the fit was perfect - we were able to pack everything!
Even the bicycles!
A little pre-load prep work.
The crew and the finished product - ship it!
Closing it up ...
... and sending it off!

Pray for safe passage!
