Blue Jacket Outdoor Drama

Back

Produced by First Frontier, Inc. of Xenia, OH, this emotionally charged and action-packed play recounts the inspiring struggle for freedom among Ohio's Shawnee Indians, frontier settlers and escaping slaves during the late 18th century.

We went with the Walkers as a prelude to our study of Indians in the fall.

We went early to enjoy a 'back-stage' tour.

Here is our tour-guide next to a cannon.

They use cannons, guns, flaming arrows ... it is quite spectacular!
Group shot.
Next he took us to the 'gun-shop' where they prepare for the show.
Strange decor above the 'gun-shop'.
The clothes were very realistic.
After the show the performers came out for autographs and photos.

This is Clearwater.
This is a Shawnee warrior.
This is Blue Jacket. Sharon likes him much better without the grey-hair.
